Miami Valley Golf

from the Short Grass for a Warm First Weekend in October
THE CELEBRATION IS MONDAYOctober 6, 2018

Our Final Event for the 2018 Golf Season will be held this Monday at Dayton CC.

This event remembers and aims to captures the spirit of Dr. Philip Hughes who was the second President of Miami Valley Golf, but much more than that he has a friend to everyone and a great advocate for our Game.

Through his very large network of contacts both here in the Miami Valley and throughout the Nation, Phil was able to bring together the resources needed to push Miami Valley Golf over the hurdles that had always prevented our area from forming a lasting collective Alliance.

To ensure our Golf Community never forgets Phil's Considerable contributions, the MVGA and Dayton Country Club, his golf home for more than 40 years, annually presents the season ending Celebration Crystal to the winning team in his honor.
