|MVGA RECEIVES AWARD FOR BEST SERVICE|
|Miami Valley Golf was the recipient of the 2015 “Best Service – Small Association” award at the recent USGA GHIN Users meeting at the Hyatt Regency in Monterey, Ca.|
The MVGA was selected from approximately 40 small golf associations in the country. Steve Jurick, MVGA Executive Director, accepted the award on behalf of the association.
The award is based on responses from club surveys the USGA conducts. The responses that determine the award are member clubs’ satisfaction with association service and accessibility.“The award shows the MVGA’s commitment to its member clubs and the relationships it has built with them over the years,” said USGA director of association services Fran Nee, who presented the award.
Jurick, who has served the MVGA for 18 years, agreed it was an excellent reflection on the MVGA Board and staff. “The USGA’s Best Service Award is a reflection on the commitment the MVGA’s Board and staff has to providing the best possible member service to its member clubs and to its golfers,” Jurick said.“It is apparent that our member clubs appreciate our efforts in providing quality service. It is also very gratifying to win this type of award when there are so many other outstanding golf associations in the country doing equally good work. It’s nice to be recognized by your peers,” he added.
