|20th Ohio Intrastate - October 17 & 18|
- Initiated in 1999 at the Medallion Club and founded by the Columbus District Golf Association as a means of unifying our state's Amateur Associations, the Ohio Intrastate Challenge now celebrates its 20th iteration.
This biennial competition was last claimed by the Greater Cincinnati GA team, triumphing at Moraine Country Club in October 2021. For this 20th edition, Losantiville CC will be the site with the Greater Cincinnati Golf Association hosting October 17 & 18th.
The Intrastate Challenge unfolds with six players from each association, composed of two women mid-amateurs, two men mid-amateurs, and two senior men, engaging in 18 holes of stroke play. Team scores will be based on the top five out of six individual scores.
In terms of historical victories, the Columbus District Golf Association has emerged as the leader with eight wins, trailed by the MVGA with five, followed closely by both the NOGA and GCGA each with three triumphs. In the Miami Valley, team selection hinges on a comprehensive two-year player of the year point list.
