Mentors Group Reflects on Teamwork

How do you know where you are?

The answer is pretty simple: Look at where you have been.

The students were asked to think about the past six weeks and then draw a poster displaying how teamwork affected a task they had participated in.

They worked in groups, continuing with the theme of teamwork. Because of this strategy, each sign was unique, but still the product of a collaborative effort.

All of the groups designed wonderful posters that exemplied the meaning of teamwork.

On the golf front, Rollandia Head Professional Ted Cremeans exapined to the kids the importance of perfecting a good short game.

"If you can hit the ball on the green in one shot, but take four putts to get the ball into the hole, you're going to have a problem," he told the Mentors Matters group.

He then worked with the kids on the practice putting green in preparation for the big scramble, which is only two weeks away!
