Nick Scott Surprised by POY HonorsNick Scott went off to Kent State University last fall without thinking too much about the success he enjoyed in the 2011 golf season. He was busy with his freshman studies at KSU and his challenges as a member of the school's golf team. So it came as a pleasant surprise recently when he learned that he had earned Player of the Year honors in the Miami Valley Golf Association for 2011. Points are awarded for performances in several events.
Rules of Golf UpdateIt may not be long before the weather in the Miami Valley will again be warm enough to entice golfers to engage in their favorite pastime. With that in mind, it might not be a bad idea for those golfers to begin making some preparations.

Associations are comprised of volunteers who govern and set direction for their respective members.  They also comprise the vast amount of manpower an association uses.  The reasons one volunteers are many, but everyone has two things in common.  A love for our game and a calling to nurture and ensure our game continues to flourish.

If you have a similar calling contact please contact us.  Some committees may not need additional members; however, each committee strives to empower as many volunteers as possible.
