Scorers Needed for US Open QThe United States Golf Association, along with the Miami Valley Golf Association, is looking for volunteers to assist with scoring at 2013 U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying on Monday, June 3 at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio.

Dr. Philip C. Hughes PassesDr. Phil Hughes, a prime mover in the establishment of the Miami Valley Golf Association, died on March 16 at a hospital in Hilton Head Island, S.C. He was 80.
USGA Turf Advisory VisitsThe USGA is once again offering at a greatly reduced rate access to the USGA Turf Advisory Service (TAS) for the 2013 Season. The non-discounted rate is $2,400 for a half day visit. The special price offered to you due to your membership with the Miami Valley Golf Assocation is $1,500
