Get a Girl GolfingA great day of golf and learning occurred on Friday, June 14 for the Annual Get A Girl Golfing Event. In honor of the events Founder, Diana Schwab all girls who attended the program will become members of the USGA-LPGA Girls Golf Club. View Photos from Event by clicking on Title

DDWGA Shamble ResultsThe 1st Event of the DDWGA Tournament Season was held on Monday, May 20th under warm and breezy conditions. Daryl Nels & Cynthia Pratt won the low gross flight with a score of 69. Sandy Hentges & Linda Bailey won the Net 1st Flight and Jessica Chilton & Jennie Joyce won the 2nd flight.

Scorers Needed for US Open QThe United States Golf Association, along with the Miami Valley Golf Association, is looking for volunteers to assist with scoring at 2013 U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying on Monday, June 3 at Springfield Country Club in Springfield, Ohio.
Diana Schwab Receives AwardEstablished in 1995 as part of the USGA’s Centennial Celebration, the Ike Grainger Award recognizes those volunteers who have given 25 years of service to the Association. Grainger served on the USGA Executive Committee and rose to become president from 1954-55.

USGA Turf Advisory VisitsThe USGA is once again offering at a greatly reduced rate access to the USGA Turf Advisory Service (TAS) for the 2013 Season. The non-discounted rate is $2,400 for a half day visit. The special price offered to you due to your membership with the Miami Valley Golf Assocation is $1,500
