|Our Active Season is Changing |
|Our active season has been expanded to begin on March 15 and run through the end of November. This was done to prepare for the World Handicap System that will be coming in 2020 and to closely align with the majority of the associations in Ohio. Please do remember to ensure your scores are posted from warm weather areas during our off season!|
|Youth on Course begins Year Two in our Area |
|Recently began in our association, 2018 will be the first full year of the Youth on Course Program in the Miami Valley. This program provides $5 green fees for all youths who are members of this program at participating facilities throughout not only the Miami Valley but the US as well. |
As we get closer to the spring the majority of our Public Access Facilities have indicated they well be apart of the program.

|Community Golf Courses is Celebrating 100 Years|
|The golf courses at Community have a storied history in our game, not just in the Miami Valley but with public golf everywhere. The Dayton Golf Program will be celebrating this legacy throughout most of 2018 and will have a Historical Reception on Saturday Evening, June 2. |
The committee is currently gathering items that will help tell Communities story. If you have articles, scorecards, or other memorabilia you would like to share we encourage you to take a picture of the item(s) and send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
More details of all the activities will be distributed as we get closer to the golf season!
|Looper is Now called Caddie Now |
|Last year was the first full year we had Looper (Uber for Caddies) in our area. Our market saw over 150 golfers play over 1000 rounds in taking advantage of this healthy alternative. In 2018, the program is expanding to include Southern Ohio and has been rebranded Caddie Now. |

|The 2017-2018 off season has seen our staff busy redesigning our website and we are just about ready to switch everything over. Want a Sneak Peak? (Not Perfect) |
