    Golf Marathon to Benefit MS at Cassel Hills

    Larry Hansgen will host the 5th Annual Golf Marathon to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on Aug. 5 at Cassel Hills Country Club.

    Mr. Hansgen started the event after his wife, Laura, was diagnosed with MS. Since then, Hansgen has dedicated time and energy in raising awareness and money in the battle against the devasting disease.

    Mr. Hansgen played 144 holes last year and raised nearly $3,000 in the battle against MS. This year, he plans to surpass his previous total, as long as daylight allows.

    Mr. Hansgen will tee off at 8:30 am on the morning of  Aug. 5, after his broadcast of Miami Valley Morning News, live from Cassel Hills.
