    Dixon feeling at home as a Lady RangerDayton District Women's Amateur Champion, Amanda Dixon had a difficult decision to make last year. Unhappy with her situation in the women's golf program at Wilmington College, she felt she had to quit the golf team or transfer to a school where she could play golf. She had spent too much time perfecting her golf game to give it up.

    Miami Valley Team Invitational - 9/19 @ Troy CCThis year's invitational will be held at Troy Country Club on Monday, September 19. The entry fee for this year has been lowered to $110 from $120, per player for this 8 person team, 27 Hole Event that features area clubs battling to see who will be the best club for 2011.The Country Club iof the North is the defending champion.
    DSGA Event #3 Wrap-upWe would like to thank everyone who played at Sycamore Creek Country Club in the Dayton Senior Golf Association Event #3. It was a beautiful day for golf and Sycamore Creek was a wonderful host. Please take a moment to check out all the results and photos.
    DSGA Event #2 ConcludesIf it wasn't the hottest day of the year, it certainly was in the top five. However, 92 Seniors braved the heat and competed at Miami Valley Golf Club on Monday, July 18. Thanks to the staff at Miami Valley GC for making this a special event!
    Results from the DSGA Event #1 at Greene CCAfter a month delay, a tornado, and a rainy day the first event of the DSGA Season finally got started. Monday morning it rained from 10am until 1:30 delaying the start of the round by 45 minutes. Then to make matters worse mother nature struck again with thunder and lighting drving us from the course. We called uncle and determined winners based on relation to par.
    The DSGA Event #1 on Monday, June 20The Dayton Senior Golf Association will have their first event of the year on Monday, June 20 at Greene Country Club. This is makeup date for the rainout we had on our original schedule for May 23. Here's hoping for good weather and great golf!
    DSGA-New date set for Event #1 at Greene CCThe DSGA Event #1 at Greene Country Club, rained out on Monday, May 23, has been rescheduled. The new date is Monday, June 20 at Greene CC and will be a 1:00pm shotgun. For those who had signed up and paid for the May 23 date, we will assume you can participate on June 20 date unless we hear from you. We will gladly refund anyone who can't make the new date.
    Course Results have been ENHANCEDIn an effort to enhance our support of the golf community, we redeveloped the Course Results page, which currently captures information that is sent to the Dayton Daily News. Now the Results will also be listed on the Left Side of our Home Page

    New Course Ratings for 2011 Released The MVGA & DDWGA Course Rating Committee met on Friday, Nov. 4th, reviewed the course rating data and certified the new course ratings for CCN, Sugar Valley and Reid Park-South. Course Rating Posters are linked to this article. The rating will be effective at the beginning of the 2011 Active Season. Thanks to the Course Rating Committee for all their efforts this past season!
